A statistical approach to characterize the viscoelastic creep compliances of a vinyl ester polymer

The objective of this study was to develop a model to predict the viscoelastic material functions of a vinyl ester (VE) polymer with variations in its experimentally obtained material properties under combined isothermal and mechanical loading. Short-term tensile creep experiments were conducted at three temperatures below the glass transition temperature of the VE polymer, with 10 replicates for each test configuration. The measured creep strain versus time responses were used to determine the creep compliances using the generalized viscoelastic constitutive equation with a Prony series representation. The variation in the creep compliances of a VE polymer was described by formulating the probability density functions (PDFs) and the corresponding cumulative distribution functions (CDFs) of the creep compliances using a two-parameter Weibull distribution. Both Weibull scale and shape parameters of the creep compliance distributions were shown to be time and temperature dependent. Two-dimensional quadratic Lagrange interpolation functions were used to characterize the Weibull parameters to obtain the PDFs and, subsequently, the CDFs of the creep compliances for the complete design temperature range during steady state creep. At each test temperature, creep compliance curves were obtained for constant CDF values and compared with the experimental data. The predicted creep compliances of the selected VE polymer in the design space are in good agreement with the experimental data for all three test temperatures.

The article investigates the growth of multiple Dirichlet series.The lower order and the linear order of n-tuple Dirichlet series in C~n are defined and some relations between them and the coefficients and exponents of n-tuple Dirichlet series are obtained.     

稳健残差控制图的构建及在金融时序中的应用

对于呈现自相关和波动族聚性并存的受控过程,通常采用残差控制图对其进行监控。但异常点的存在会对自相关或波动族聚性模型的拟合产生重要影响,使得基于该模型的残差并非独立同分布导致常规残差控制图监控失效。为解决这类问题,本文提出稳健残差控制图。即建立稳健的ARMA模型解决自相关问题从而得到无自相关的残差序列,用稳健的GARCH模型来构建控制图的上下限。模拟和实证研究表明,本文提出的稳健残差控制图具有很好的抗异常点能力并能更好的对金融时间序列的异常现象进行监控。     

Summability in of a vector measure

We show a picture of the relations among different types of summability of series in the space  of integrable functions with respect to a vector measure m of relatively norm compact range. In order to do that, we study the class of the so‐called m‐1‐summing operators. We give several applications regarding the existence of copies of c ₀ in , as well as on m‐1‐summing operators which are weakly compact, Asplund or weakly precompact.     

On primeness of general skew inverse Laurent series ring

Ever since the introduction, skew inverse Laurent series rings have kept growing in importance, as researchers characterized their properties (such as Noetherianness, Armendarizness, McCoyness, etc.) in terms of intrinsic properties of the base ring and studied their relations with other fields of mathematics, as for example quantum mechanics theory. The goal of our paper is to study the primeness and semiprimeness of general skew inverse Laurent series rings R((x^?1;σ,δ)), where R is an associative ring equipped with an automorphism σ and a σ-derivation δ.     

Interlacing of Hurwitz series

In this paper, we introduce the notion of interlacing of Hurwitz series. We begin by reviewing some important properties of the ring of Hurwitz series over a commutative ring A of arbitrary characteristic, and we introduce and investigate properties of the maps exp and log. We show that solutions of linear homogeneous differential equations with constant coefficients from the ring A can be described simply as interlacings of solutions of a first order system of differential equations. We give several examples to illustrate this result, and we conclude by defining and investigating properties of trigonometric functions using interlacings of Hurwitz series.     

On maximal subalgebras and a generalized Jordan–Hölder theorem for Lie algebras

The purpose of this paper is to continue the study of chief factors of a Lie algebra and to prove a further strengthening of the Jordan–Hölder theorem for chief series.
